This installment returns to the illegal street racing-oriented gameplay that most associate with Need for Speed: Most Wanted. In Need for Speed: Undercover, players take on the role of an undercover police officer tasked with busting the street racing scene in the Tri-City area. The game offers a range of features, including open-world exploration, police pursuits, pursuit breakers, nitrous boosts, and, of course, street racing.
